Clothes

Igloolik male clothing was intended for a hunting life of freezing temperatures, high winds, and driving snow and rain. Men needed adequate protection while being able to move freely for physical activities. These clothes were skilfully made from the skins of game animals, thus providing warmth, freedom of movement, waterproofness, and comfort, in addition to letting the skin breathe.
